Bangalore The Garden City-Lalbagh Glass House  

Lal Bagh Botanical Garden is a well known landmark in Bangalore, in India. It is a great tourist destination. Hyder Ali commissioned the building of this garden in 1760 and his son, Tipu Sultan completed it. It has  the famous Kempegowda Tower (one of the four) situated on a picturesque hill. The park has some rare species of plants brought from all over the world. It holds a number of flower shows, especially on the Republic day and Independence day of India.
